Most people who call us start the same way: something has changed in how the
car drives, and they have already been given a price by someone who has not
looked at the vehicle.
We built a tool to deal with that. It is called
Furitech Autohaus, and it matches what you are
describing against 40,000+ confirmed transmission repair cases — real jobs,
with a confirmed fix recorded against them.
You describe the fault in your own words. Add anything else you have: a code
from a roadside patrol, a warning message on the dash, what a previous
workshop told you. The system returns the most likely causes, ranked, with
the reasoning behind each one.
It is not a guess generator and it is not a forum thread. Every result traces
back to a repair that was actually completed.
A customer who arrives with a report is easier to help. We are not starting
from "it makes a noise sometimes". We are starting from a symptom pattern,
a shortlist of likely causes, and a clear idea of what needs to be confirmed
on the hoist.
That means less time diagnosing and more time fixing.
A driver report is $49, and that $49 is redeemable against your in-shop
diagnosis here at Brookvale. If you go on to book with us, the report
effectively costs you nothing.
If you are a technician rather than a vehicle owner, there is a separate
trade version. Paste in the customer's description and it returns known
repair solutions for that pattern, so you can focus the diagnosis instead of
working through possibilities one at a time.
