BMW is known for fill for life Automatic Transmission service schedule however some new BMW and Mini models have a Dual Clutch Transmission that now has a on board service schedule and the oil can be hard to find in stock at your local dealer.

• Will suit the 7DCT300 / 7DCT400 Dual Clutch Transmission found in late model BMW 116d (F40), 118i (F40), 118i (F52), 120i (F52), 218i (F44), X1 (F48) X2 (E39) and Mini Coppers F54, F55, F56, F57, F60.

• The TCM will log a warning on the dash saying Service Transmission Oil Required

• BMW recommended service capacity is 2 litres or 4 litres. All vehicles we have serviced require just under 4.5 liters.

• To clear the warning the transmission module need to be reset using a scan tool that has the functionality to carry out the reset procedure.
