Ford 6R80 Electrical Plate (Lead Frame) Service Kit

The lead frame (also called the electrical plate) carries the 6R80's internal wiring and speed sensors. It's a known failure point in Ford Ranger, Mazda BT-50, Everest and Territory transmissions. A faulty lead frame can cause harsh or erratic shifts, limp mode, and speed sensor fault codes. Common examples are P0715, P0720 and P0717.

This kit has the parts you need to replace the lead frame and reseal the transmission while you're in there.

Kit includes

• Genuine Ford electrical plate (lead frame)

• Transmission filter with 26 mm pickup (3 Leg fits PX1 & PX2, Ranger)

• Sump pan gasket

• Case connector

• Valve-body-to-case sealing kit

Optional add-on: Thermal Bypass Valve

• Patented design (US Patent 9,249,875 B1)

• Keeps fluid flowing through the cooler full-time, which lowers the average fluid temperature

• Built-in high-pressure safety bypass into the lube circuit

• Lets you check the fluid level straight away without a warm-up cycle

• Drop-in replacement that fits in-car while the valve body is out
